NY’S SMALL BIZ COMMUNITY HAS SPOKEN: STEVE McLAUGHLIN IS THE ONLY CHOICE FOR ASSEMBLY
McLaughlin receives endorsement from The Business Council of New York State as New York’s #1 pro-jobs legislator
Assemblyman Steve McLaughlin (R,C,I-Melrose) was endorsed by The Business Council of New York State (BCNYS) in his bid for re-election to the state assembly in the 107th Assembly district. BCNYS endorsed McLaughlin noting that he was ranked New York’s top pro-jobs legislator, in both the Assembly and Senate, for his commitment to creating economic growth, good jobs and strong communities across New YorkState. Noting that this year is about electing pro-business and pro-taxpayer candidates to the state legislature, BCNYS said McLaughlin is the obvious and only choice when it comes to supporting pro-growth policies.
“It’s a tremendous honor and I’m extremely proud to be endorsed by The Business Council of New York State,” said McLaughlin. “The endorsement is recognition of my past and continued support of pro-growth policies that will help us build a strong foundation today and lead to brighter days for New York’s economy. Lowering taxes and the cost of doing business, and getting our state agencies to work with, not against, our job creators is what we must do to move our economy forward. I am the only candidate in this race who has a pro-growth record, who supports our local businesses, and I’m eager to continue our progress in Albany.”
“Steve McLaughlin has proven to be a champion of small business and fiscal reforms in New YorkState. He understands if we want to create good jobs and expand New York’s economy we need to lower the tax burden and reduce the high cost of doing business. We are pleased to support him in his reelection bid,” said Heather Briccetti, president and CEO of The Business Council of New York State.
To date, McLaughlin has been endorsed by Unshackle Upstate, National Federation of Independent Business and New Yorkers for Growth.
