“Tomorrow, Veterans Day, we have an opportunity to honor those who have fought for our freedom and reflect on the countless souls who have perished in the line of duty. Our veterans deserve the utmost praise and consideration for their multitude of sacrifices and commitment to our nation. The U.S. has evolved into the premier military force on Earth, and that is due almost exclusively to the bravery and perseverance of our nation’s veterans.

“I strive to give New York’s veterans a voice in Albany and have fought diligently for things like a veteran’s service credit and to award the “Campaign Medal for Service” to veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan. I implore my constituents as well as New Yorkers across the state to take time to thank a veteran tomorrow and reflect on those we have lost in the preservation of our freedom.”
