McLAUGHLIN, STUDENTS, PARENTS, ENVIRONMENTAL ADVOCATES TO BRING PFOA RESULTS TO STATE SENATE

Assemblyman Steve McLaughlin (R,C,I-Troy) will be joined by Hoosick Falls students, parents, teachers, environmental and health advocates to deliver their PFOA results to the state Senate in person and once again call on the Legislature to hold hearings to find out who knew what and when, WEDNESDAY, JUNE 15 at 11 a.m., 3rd floor of the Capitol outside  the Senate Chamber.

The press conference is being held in response to the state Senate Health Committee chairman Kemp Hannon, who said last week he wasn’t aware of the severity of the PFOA crisis. Hannon doubled down and said, “no one has written so I don't know if what you're saying is accurate or not.”

McLaughlin noted that each speaker will share what their PFOA level is and how this epidemic and the botched response from the Cuomo administration have negatively affected their lives.
